Panasonic 3D TVs Arriving This Wednesday

Panasonic announced that it plans to start selling 3D HDTVs later this week. New TVs will arrive to Best Buy stores around the United States and the event beginning sale will be at Best Buy on Union Square in New York City. Panasonic has lower the price of the new model about 50% compared to its price in Japan.
The discount is a part of company's strategy to sell 1 million of 3D TVs this fiscal year and half of the sales has been targeted to U.S. market.
The new VT25 is a 50 inch plasma HDTV and it will be sold in set with 3D glasses and Blu-Ray player. It will cost around $2,500, which is $2300 cheaper than in Japan.
As the 3D cinema is becoming more and more popular, especially by famous recent  productions like Avatar, 3D TVs will become more common and I think that this type of TVs will gain popularity very rapidly. We can see that also by the fact that other great companies like Samsung, Sony or LG are planing to launch their models of 3D TVs soon.
