Branson spacecraft completes test flight

Today, the maiden flight of the world's first commercial spacecraft took place in California over the Mojave Desert. The spacecraft, VSS Enterprise, carried by a carrier plane successfully completed its first flight - announced Virgin Galactic. The owner of the company, British millionaire Richard Branson has dreamed about bringing space flights to people and now his dream is slowly coming true.
VSS Enterprise has been attached to the carrier plane for 2 hours and 54 minutes reaching the height of 45,000 feet. Eventually, the spacecraft with the carrier plane will reach 60,000 feet and then propel itself into space with the rocket engines.
Virgin Galactic is planing to start first commercial flights in near future. The ticket costs about $200,000 and the company has already 80,000 people on the waiting list who are willing to pay that money for a trip.
In my opinion, the dream of commercial flights and space flights available for masses will come true very soon, sooner than we expect. Technology is developing, as we can see with the example of the VSS Enterprise, and thanks to this space is becoming more accessible to people. There will be always many people who are willing to visit the space, and low cost (I think it will be even smaller) is even more encouraging.
