Google Android Phones Can Now Search With Written Gestures

Google introduced experimental application for Android operating system, that enables searching the content of the phone using handwriting instead of typing in keyboard.
Gesture Search is an alternative for searching by voice and it is very useful. Just by opening the application and writting a letter search results pop up. The application is also smart and it can "learn" from search history. They results that were chosen in previous searches are at the top. And also if the written letter is too similar to the other letter, the application brings up results for both. Gesture Search can search almost all types of files on the Android phone, including contacts, applications, music and videos, or Internet bookmarks.
Obviously there are always disadvantages, so is in this case. The application is available only for U.S. customers with phones with operating system not lower than Android 2.0. The owners of phones with older operating systems are frustrated.
I think that they have right to be mad, beacause the app is very handy. Google's strategy isn't good, because they're losing support of clients. In my opinion they should release a version compatible with older devices.
