Apple's iTunes Store Serves up 10 Billionth Song

Today Apple's iTunes Store sold 10 billionth song to a lucky Johny Cash fan from Georgia. He will receive a $10,000 iTunes gift card, an iPod Touch and an Apple Time Capsule. It has been about 6 years and 10 months since the iTunes Store opened and the virtual store's resources are growing and it is gaining popularity every day.
The iTunes store was selling at the beging music only, but now it expanded, and it is selling applications, movies, TV shows, podcasts and many other things.
The lucky customer bought Johny Cash's song, "Guess Things Happen That Way", and won enough money to fill iPod with music to its full capacity. Although, Apple wasn't as generous as in 2006, when billionth song was sold. That year, a winner got a similar gift card, but also a 20-inch iMac, 10 60GB iPods and a scholarship in a music school.
I think that the iTunes Store is devolping very faster and it will grow even faster in following years. It is gaining new clients every day and every day hundreds of purchases are made. The virtual store is for sure one of the greatest Apple's achievements.
